CAMILLE VER’S “5 PROJECTS” AT GALERIE STEPHANIE

Monday, August 22, 2016

Galerie Stephanie proudly presents Five Projects, Camille Ver’s 11th solo exhibit. Five Projects explores nuanced expressions of Ver’s continuing exploration of color and abstraction. Unlike earlier exhibitions that were inspired by abstractions of the landscape, more particularly the outlines of the city and its environs, Five Projects delves within and is inspired by important people in the artist’s life. Each project is a set of paint and ink on canvas works following an exploration of mood and memory expressed as a particular combination of color and line creating thematic compositions reflecting important aspects of each personal muse. In this sense, as each muse is unique, so is each project’s aesthetic sensibility.

Camille Ver is one of the most promising female contemporary abstractionists whose works have been exhibited in Tokyo, Japan; Seoul, South Korea; Dubai, UAE; New Jersey, USA as well as in many local art fairs and exhibitions.

Five Projects opens on August 23, 2016, 6:00 pm and runs until September 6, 2016 at Galerie Stephanie, Unit 1B, Parc Plaza Bldg., 183 E. Rodriguez Jr. Ave., Libis, Quezon City.
