REFLECTIONS ON THE BASI REVOLT & CONTEMPORARY ART: A ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION

In line with the exhibitions Mito ng Aklasang Basi by Roberto Feleo and Agos by Antipas Delotavo, Vargas Museum invites the public to a discussion of Filipino regional history and myth-making as manifested in contemporary art practice on April 5, 2016 at 1:00 pm.

Discussants include Dr. Vic Villan of UP Department of History, poet-essayist Arnold Molina Azurin, artists Roberto Feleo and Antipas Delotavo.



The activity is open to the public and with free admission to the featured exhibitions. Pre-registration to the discussion is encouraged by sending a message via vargasmuseum@gmail.com until April 4, 2016.

“Mito ng Aklasang Basi” and “Agos” both runs until April 8, 2016 with extended viewing hours of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Monday viewings on March 28 and April 4, 2016. The exhibitions are made possible with support from the Province of Ilocos Norte and Tin-aw Art Gallery.
