GREAT WOMEN TRADE EXCHANGE AT YUCHENGCO MUSEUM, MARCH 10-12

In celebration of Women’s Month this March, Yuchengco Museum will host the Great Women Trade Exchange from March 10, 2016, Thursday, to March 12, Saturday. The three-day artisan product fair features the works of 15 specially selected female designers, manufacturers, and women-led companies. Among the gifts to be sold at the Great Women Trade Exchange are fine apparel, fashion accessories, home accessories and decor, and handwoven textiles. The fair will be open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Admission is free.



Shop for artisanal products in a relaxed atmosphere. Meet the women behind the products on sale at the fair. Support the important contributions of women and women-led businesses to our economy. Explore the museum’s amazing exhibits on fine art prints, Fernando Amorsolo, Benedicto Cabrera, and more (regular admission applies).

The specially selected vendors are part of a pioneering group of women enterprises invited to become part of the country’s Great Women gender platform, a multi-stakeholder public-private partnership led by the Department of Trade and Industry, the Philippine Commission on Women, and private sector lead partner ECHOsi Foundation under a grant from the Government of Canada.

Participating vendors selected by Yuchengco Museum in partnership with ECHOsi Foundation include: Great Women Lifestyle Collection (a collaboration of women manufacturers, producers and designers, including The Leather Collection, Quality Philippine Export Lingerie and Apparel, and Green Leaf Bags), Ancestral Crafts, Ann Pamintuan Jewelry, Balay ni Atong, Beyond Borders, Casa San Pablo, Gifts & Graces, GKonomics, Jacinto and Lirio, La Herminia Piña Weaving Industry, La Pomme, Natalya Lagdameo Jewelry, Pambahay by Halo-Halo, Rurungan sa Tubod Foundation, The Olive Tree, Angie’s Yakan Cloth. The Yuchengco Museum shop will also be selling at the trade exchange.

The Great Women Trade Exchange will be at Yuchengco Museum from March 10 to 12, 2016 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. The museum is located at RCBC Plaza, corner Ayala and Sen. Gil J. Puyat Avenues, Makati.
