Altro Mondo Arte Contemporanea in cooperation with The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences is pleased to announce the opening of their new space on the third floor of the Picasso in Salcedo Village, Makati. To mark the opening of the new gallery, Altro Mondo at the Picasso is starting 2015 off with two art events for Sunday, March 22, 2015 in Salcedo Village: a booth at Art in the Park 2015 which will be held at the Jaime Velasquez Park on LP Leviste St. from 10 am to 10 pm, and to cap the night off, there will be a solo exhibition by photographer Czar Kristoff, entitled Here is Always Somewhere Else at 6 pm in the Picasso.

Czar Kristoff (b.1989) is a self-taught photographer based in Laguna, Philippines. He is known for his usually monochromatic works and his previous documentations of the local skateboarding scene. Through his images, he counterpoises intimate memories with the abstract representation of the banality of daily life, often presenting his works in fragmented images so as to blur and somehow take into light subjects that are mundanely familiar but rarely delved into. His images mirror curiosities that are attempts to answer human and spiritual demands and questions, which are the basis of his works.

His images have been published in several contemporary photography magazines and have been exhibited and showcased in Manila and London.

Here is Always Somewhere Else will be on view at Altro Mondo Picasso (3rd Level, The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences, 119 LP Leviste St, Salcedo Village, Makati City) until April 22, 2015.
