An Artist Talk by renowned Filipino composer Ryan Cayabyab will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 3:00pm at the Tanghalang Aurelio Tolentino (Little Theater) of the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

One of the activities of Mr. C at 60, A Musical Celebration, the Talk will take place within the duration of the CCP Hands-On Choral Workshop which will take place on October 21-25, 2014 from 9:00am to 6:00pm in various CCP venues of the CCP.

Ryan Cayabyab’s choral arrangement of his original composition Ikaw Pa Rin ang Mahal Ko will be premiered at the Culminating Program of the Workshop on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo (Main Theater) at 4:00pm.

The CCP Hands-on Choral Workshop, now on its 12th year, is one of the projects of the Cultural Center of the Philippines as Center for Choral Performance. It is open to amateur choirs which have been existence for at least two years; as well as choral conductors who wish to hone their skills in choral singing, conducting and performance.

The trainors are the current members and alumni of the world renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers led by its choirmaster Mark Anthony Carpio. This highly regarded Workshop has trained choirs from different parts of the country, some of which have eventually competed and won in local and international choral competitions.
