Visiting artist Jade Hoyer is a printmaker currently living in Knoxville, TN, USA, where she is a Master of Fine Arts Student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Hoyer utilizes her art forms to address social issues through narrative, text, portraiture, and humor. Her artist talk will explore her influences, her interest in multiculturalism, and showcase her recent work.

The talk will be held on July 22, 2014, 2pm at the CCP’s MKP Hall.

She will give another talk at the School of Fine Arts and Design of the Philippine Women's University, Taft Avenue, Manila on August 1, 2014 and on August 7, 2014 at DLSU-College of St Benilde School of Design and Arts.

This visiting artist program is in partnership with the Philippine Association of Printmakers (PAP).
