In partnership with the Lyceum of the Philippines Culinary Institute, the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines will be holding the Global Taste of Korea Contest 2014 on June 27, 2014 at LPU as part of the third year anniversary celebration of the Center.

The cooking contest, conceptualized to promote Korean cuisine to the global audience, is open to Filipino citizens aged 18 and above, both professional and amateur cooks who are passionate about Korean food. The winner of the regional leg will be sent to Korea to compete with winners from around the world.

The organizer of the competition will be providing the ingredients, cooking wares and tablewares, but the participants may be able to bring their own special sauces, cookwares and other materials provided that these are listed in the application form. The cooking time is set at an hour, but Korean desserts and snacks which can be made under an hour are not allowed.
