Works of Heart, to celebrate its 2nd year anniversary, is proud to present Hearts Behind Work, an exhibit and thanksgiving event happening later today, April 26, 2014, from 3pm to 6pm at NOVA Gallery in Makati City.

The event will showcase Works of Heart’s best client works and collaborative projects that show how creativity and design is used for nation-building. In addition to that, the event will exhibit existing design solutions from different organizations in our country: the government-initiated Open Data PH, a local fashion brand in Risque Designs, and an organization that promotes mindful living, MUNI.

Hearts Behind Work aims to celebrate art and design for nation building. Its main objective is to connect the creative sector to the development sector so that they can see that working together can catapult their initiatives further.

Key people in the government and the creative sector, student leaders in design organizations, and social entrepreneurs will be gracing the event. Apart from that, two very inspiring and young trailblazers in the field of design and development, respectively, are going to share what they do, and how these two sectors can collaborate towards a better Philippines.

For the Creative Sector, it will be Dan Matutina, co-founder of Plus 63 Design and for the Development Sector, it will be Prim Paypon, Dream Champion and co-founder of Bacolod-based The Dream Project.
