Ed Arcilla explores the mystique form that embodies power and resilience in “The Horses Are Coming,” which is on view until Feb. 16, 2014 at The Gallery, Arts in the City, BGC, FVR Park, Federacion Drive corner 7th Ave., Bonifacio Global City.

The majestic creature which embodies power and resilience has fascinated and captured the heart of this gifted painterthrough his vivid visual interpretations. Arcilla’s imagination of this mystique form reflects from Eastern, Medieval and modern influences.

Arcilla’s captivation of horses has launched his first solo that ushered his career from a pioneer and the only fiber-optic Treklite advertising fabricator/supplier into a visual artist and sculptor. He is currently finishing his masters at the College of Fine Arts at University of the Philippines. He has honed his artistic talents in all his entrepreneurial undertakings from the UE School of Music and Arts, now the College of Fine Arts, Architecture and Design of the University of the East. This has made him one of the 60 most outstanding alumni of 2006 and currently serves as a board member of UE Alumni Association Inc.
