In line with her on-going exhibition “Lifted Veils,” Ambie Abaño will deliver an artist’s talk and demonstrate woodcut printing at the Altro Mondo Gallery on Saturday, January 25, 2014, at 4:30 in the afternoon.

She will be talking about her explorative creative process and her various residencies abroad focusing on her 2012 six-month residency in New York sponsored by the Asian Cultural Council.

Stanford Makishi, Deputy Director and Director of Programs of the Asian Cultural Council New York will also talk about the Foundation's commitment in supporting artists for an exchange program between the United States and Asia.

The event is open to all – students, artists, art enthusiasts and the general public. Artists interested to know more about the ACC Fellowship are encouraged to attend. Mr. Makishi will entertain questions about the ACC Program. Ambie will also raffle off three prints as part of the event.
